Tory Lanez, is a Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, director, and fashion designer from Toronto, Ontario.
During his younger years, Daystar moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where he met a janitor named Hakeem. Hakeem gave Daystar the name Lanez; Because Hakeem would be seeing Daystar running around the streets without watching for traffic.
